Characteristics Of The Zodiac Moon In Scorpio

Characteristics Of The Zodiac Moon In Scorpio

The Sun is the planet that zodiac novices are most interested in. But the moon is equally important in a chart. This planet relates to the world of emotions, including the nature embedded by nature, nurture and memory. It resides in the subconscious and deals with how a person relates to those around them. The characteristics in this sign might not be apparent to the person they refer to since they reside so deeply in the mind. Others are often better able to recognize these traits, as they are put out there into the world more than they are reflected upon.

A person with their Moon in Scorpio is ruled by their intense, passionate and secretive emotional state. Their memory is so accurate that any past tragedies will be so deeply ingrained in their mind that they can form psychological scars. It should come as no surprise then that these people tend to be moody. But the secretive part of their nature can make it so that no one else can see what is going on in there. Even those who think they are close to this person are only aware of a carefully revealed piece of the overall puzzle.

The passion in this sign extends into the area of sexuality. But these people usually have problems in relationships due to their need for control, ego and possessiveness. They put themselves so deep into a relationship that it becomes a part of their identity. If that relationship ends, it is in fact as if they have lost a piece of their own being. Despite all of their egotistical strutting and seemingly cold attitudes, this person is deeply sensitive. That’s why all of the smoke and mirrors are necessary.

Those with their Moon in Scorpio are extremely judgmental. They judge a book on its cover and are not easily swayed away from that negative first impression. Their manner is intense but impulsive. If someone wrongs them in any way, there will be retribution of a forceful and determined nature. Unfortunately, this sign is easily offended so grudges and revenge plots are common occurrences. If the people in their life give them space to operate, don’t try to control them and can tolerate their moods the chances of an emotional (or physical) fight will be minimized.

Their determination carries over well into the business world as any goal they have set, they will accomplish. Challenges are just things to be overcome. Despite their own tendency for secrecy, they can see through other people’s motives and guards to correctly deduce what is happening in any situation. Controlling and independent, this person will probably be in some position of leadership. They are also incredibly stubborn, to the point that they will hold onto an issue (or person) long after the intelligence of doing so has passed.

The description may make it seem like those with their Moon in Scorpio should be avoided at all costs. But these people aren’t “bad” by any stretch and can be a wonderful ally and partner to have around. Passion and involvement are considered ideal traits to have in a partner. The Scorpio influence just delivers those things in large, strong doses.

Garden Enclosures and Screens Types

Garden Enclosures and Screens Types

When planning your garden enclosure, you certainly need not restrict yourself to the traditional categories of walls and fencing. There is a host of other materials, many of which are not conventionally associated with garden setting, which may be very successful in harmonizing with the individual style of a particular garden. The internal screen especially, provides an opportunity for experimentation with modern materials, glass and plastic, for example as well as for reviving the traditional garden screen of trellis work. Small gardeners are particularly versatile in this way as you can use bold ideas over a small area which might become monotonous on a large site.

Metal Fencing Enclosures

The two most common types of metal fencing are probably unsuitable in small gardens though for different reasons. The metal version of post and rail fencing is long lasting and elegant to look at when painted, but around a small garden it offers too little definite line and may well look flimsy. Another common style is wrought iron work, it’s strictly limited to a particular kind of garden, usually urban and formal, and though used in this setting it is unsurpassed. In other places it looks fussy and incongruous, and this is unfortunately emphasized by the crudeness of some modern ironwork designs. All iron work needs a coat of primer and two coats of exterior gloss paint to seal it against rust and frequent repainting is necessary.

Traditional wrought iron demands a particular apt setting, usually in the garden of an old town house or around a balcony. Modern wrought iron is somewhat crude and flimsy in comparison with the sturdy and elaborate nineteenth century original iron fencing.

Glass Screens

Where strong winds disturb warm weather, for instance by the sea, clear glass screens will act as a wind break without blocking the view. Large sheets of 10mm thick safety or wired glass are advisable especially with children around; they may also be required by building regulations. Safety glass is expensive and the fitting is a professional job. The wooden or aluminium frame should be well stabilized particularly where the wind is strong. If the glass is framed only on three sides, the fourth edge should be ground off until it is smooth.

A glass panel will frame a view while protecting the garden from strong winds. Set the edges of the frame either well below or above the natural eye level to avoid a constant line disturbing your field of vision.

Screens within the Garden

There are situation inside the garden where a visual block is required, something less massive then a fence or a wall, which will hold the eye and be decorative within it. One frequent use of the screen is to divide the leisure parts of the garden from the working parts like compost heap and dustbins. A screen will make a garden pleasant to sit in creating areas of shade, a valuable luxury in hot countries. Planted screens can provide good protection against strong sunlight, only letting patches of green light and shadow filter through to the ground in front to form a cool retreat.

Some striking effects can be achieved with screens of rather unnatural materials. Sheets of coloured and rigid plastic can be used. Bamboo canes, or metal or plastic pipes set into the ground like a palisade fence look surprisingly effective in some garden settings. By using plants to break up straight lines of structures, an even wider range of effects can be achieved. You can weave patterns of nylon rope or taut wire covered in plastic, inside a frame a train plants up to this.

When planning this type of screen you want to consider whether or not plants will be grown along it, what kind they will be and how long they will take to grow. Some screens are marked by a light pattern of creepers, while others are enveloped by an enormous wisteria or vine. This luxuriant growth will probably die down and have to be pruned in the winter, however; make allowance for this when planning the appearance of the supporting frame work. If you intend to eventually grow a thick hedge, you may only need a temporary screen of light woven rush for instance, until the plants are fully grown.

Most screens, especially those grown over with plants or which are very delicate, require some kind of upkeep occasionally: timber needs repainting and coating with preservative, metal may rust and wires need replacing and tightening. With some structures or against brick walls, it is probably more convenient to train the plants over a wire mesh held by screws a little distance from the surface. This not only allows you to remove the plant while you paint the timber, but also gives the plant more room to breathe and to grow.

Wooden Trellises

Wooden structures are probably the most common and convenient support for plants. The traditional trellis work of fine diamonds or squares has a very delicate air, complemented by plants such as rambling roses or clematis; or you can construct a plainer and sturdier framework. Trellis is easy to build so you can easily follow you own design, whether you are planning to heighten an existing fence, make a screen from an entrance or build a lightweight garden building. It is particularly suitable for roof gardens or any site with a small ground area because it exploits the available height. A rich variety of flowers, vegetables and creepers can flourish on very little ground space if they are grown up against trellis; moreover, when the plants die down in winter, the lattice pattern is by no means ugly and can be a decoration to the garden in its own right.

Pre-fabricated trellis is very convenient but is ultimately more expensive and more time consuming than home built trellis as the lath is often flimsy and will not last. Twining plants will weaken it considerably and they will be disturbed each time the trellis is replaced. It is therefore worthwhile to build your own trellis frame, tailor made to the shape of the garden or site. Vary the width of the lattice to fit the plants: delicate plants cannot be trained over widely spaces laths without looking dwarfed and having to be constantly tied with twine.

Wooden Enclosures

Wooden frames provide a place for climbing plants and vines, even vegetables; their design can be varied according to the character and size of the plant. Here is a picture of a creeper resting on a suitably solid, wide spaced structure.

Plant Enclosures

Plants themselves form a temporary screen, serving to separate two areas of the garden as pictured here. You can use all sorts of plants and vegetables to achieve this.

Bamboo Enclosures

A line of cut bamboo canes simply stuck in the ground can be given a decorative curved outline. It will give sufficient support for light climbing plants and you may want to combine an evergreen creeper with an annual climber to produce constant foliage.

Plant Box Screens

A planting box is useful under a trellis grid. The method of erecting a free standing trellis is similar to building a fence and the timber requires the same preservation treatments. The laths should be glued together and then nailed with flat-headed short nails. Use a piece of wood as a template to ensure regular spacing.

Traditional Screening

Traditional diamond patter trellis looks effective against a brick wall when painted white. Fixing it a little distance away from the wall gives it more room for growth and an evergreen creeper such as ivy will be decorative throughout the year.

18Th Century Furniture Makers – The Big Three

18Th Century Furniture Makers – The Big Three

In the 18th century, the ‘big three’ furniture makers are undoubtedly Thomas Chippendale, Thomas Sheraton and George Hepplewhite.

Thomas Chippendale is probably the most famous of all. He was a cabinet maker and furniture designer based in London. Styles ranged from English with deep carving, elaborate anglicised rococo, Chinese style with latticework and lacquer, and Gothic with pointed arches, quatrefoils and fret-worked legs. In later years he adopted the Neoclassical style. His father was joiner and probably the person that got Thomas started in the trade.

He was the first cabinet-maker to publish a book of his designs, which was called The Gentleman and Cabinet Maker’s Director, published in 1754. This influenced many other cabinet makers and illustrated almost every type of mid-18th century domestic furniture.

Chippendale was an interior designer as well as a cabinet maker. He advised on soft furnishings and the overall look that a room should have. His work was desired by the rich and famous and he frequently took commissions from the aristocracy.

He died of TB in 1779 but has been commemorated with a full size statue on the V&A Museum and a memorial plaque can be found in Otley, Yorkshire (his probable birthplace) outside of the old Prince Henry’s Grammar School. His son of the same name went carried on the family business.

Thomas Sheraton also worked in London from 1790 as a professional consultant and architecture and design teacher.

His designs were based on classical architecture and can be categorised as Neoclassical. They were often made from inlaid satinwood. Whilst he was a designer, there is no evidence that he actually created the pieces himself. Only one piece can actually be credited to him – a glass fronted bookcase which bears the stamp T.S inside one drawer.

Sheraton also published an influential work – “The Cabinet Maker’s and Upholsterer’s Drawing Book” which was available to the public in 1791 – it greatly influenced English and American design. He also published “The Cabinet Dictionary” in 1803, explaining the techniques of furniture making and upholstery. His last book was volume 1 of “Cabinet Maker, Upholsterer and General Artist’s Encyclopaedia” in 1805. He died in 1806.

George Hepplewhite is the last of the ‘big three’. He also worked in London but as a man, little is really known about him.

His name is known for a slender, elegant furniture style and particularly for a large shield shape on chair backs. No pieces made by him or his firm are thought to exist now.

He died in 1786 and in 1788, his widow Alice published “The Cabinet Maker and Upholsterers Guide”, featuring about 300 of his designs. Some claim that George Hepplewhite is actually just a pen name for Alice because it is so hard to find evidence of the man.

Hepplewhite’s designs only really found fame after the date of his death.

Chippendale and his contemporaries were excellent furniture designers and influenced the cabinet makers of the 19th and 20th centuries. Their designs and publications are so important that they will continue to influence people as furniture design evolves throughout the ages.

Star Signs of Key Leaders and the Effect They Have on the World

Star Signs of Key Leaders and the Effect They Have on the World

How people act in life is determined by their star signs, or at least the time they were born. Following my reincarnation, the fascination with why people are who they are and the roles they perform in life focused my attention. Born under the sign of Capricorn my life has followed its traits perfectly. That has led me to now examine in detail the star signs of world leaders and the three main ones in particular.

Donald Trump is, of course, number one on the list and not surprisingly he is under the sign of Gemini. So too is the Chinese President, Xi Jinping. Both these men are high achievers, which fits with the traits. Another of their ilk was John F. Kennedy. That makes it easy to compare their lives and moods against each other.

Geminis are born between May 22nd to June 21st and there is a long list of world leaders who fit between those dates, including the future king of England, Prince William along with the Duke of Edinburgh, his grandfather. So what are their traits and how do they fit in with others?

To begin with they are born with twin like personalities. They appear to talk to themselves while conversing between the two sides. They have, therefore, a very secretive nature that annoys most who want to get information about their activities. This is certainly the case with Trump who created a war between himself and the media so as to avoid scrutiny.

Xi Jinping is also hiding his intentions as he goes from country to country while dealing and gaining information. But the Gemini man is complex and his moods can change with the wind. One day everything is peaceful and rosy and the next it is all out war. So how can he and Trump possibly stay on a level keel several days in a row.

Add to the mix Vladimir Putin, President of Russia. He is born under the sign of Libra and, like that of Gemini it is an air sign. Born between September 24th to October 23rd those under this sign are even more unpredictable. They have a problem making their minds up about anything. Getting things into balance is more their traits, but that is hard.

When it doesn’t work out they will turn from what appears to be a gentle, calm, and good-natured being into a monster. They can quickly change into a quarrelsome, annoying, stubborn, depressed, and confused tyrant. After swinging from one side to the other just as quickly there is calm as the scales come into balance.

One must wonder then about Putin and where he sits now in relation to the crisis facing Trump and Xi. Will he sit on the fence and ponder or will he start swinging, as he has in Syria? Will he be calm and sensible or a force neither can deal with?

These three air signs are just that. They gather like the wind in the upper stratosphere and can be as cyclonic as any devastating weather event. All three love missiles because they fly like the wind. Their chosen weapons if war develops will most likely be missiles and bombs dropped from aircraft.

It is interesting that President Assad of Syria is in fact under Aries. Born on the 23rd March, 1962, his is a different sign altogether. His is the fire and his attitude is like a flame that will burn anything that represents opposition to his dreams or goals. He does not lie but he does kill and he yells blue murder if someone robs him of his rights or toys.

Nothing matters to the Aries person except his status as the main character on life’s stage. He will suck up to anyone who will help him achieve it. No matter how many times he falls over he will always rise again and be extremely kind and forgiving to anyone who helps him. Perhaps that is why Assad and Putin have hit it off.

The last person on the world stage at the moment worth a mention is Kim Jong-un, President of North Korea. Surprisingly he is under the star sign Capricorn, one that I know very well. He is a loner who climbs to the height of the tower where the view is best. He knows exactly what he wants and little by little he is working to get it.

While the Korean war of the 1950’s was unresolved militarily he dreams that with stealth and careful planning he will win it. Like a spider sitting in a web waiting for the feast to come to him he is putting out his feelers until it happens.

Defeat of the USA is on his mind but he knows he can’t do it alone. With allies like China, Russia, and even Assad, all of which are sharpening their swords for a major conflict, he is likely to wait for them to strike first. He has no power to equal those of the Americans and with so many countries against him already his only chance of success is to wait.

This is a picture of the leaders who must now carry out orders for peace or for war because the crisis has gone too far to ignore. North Korea was occupied for decades by Japan and now comes the reckoning if Kim has his way.

How Yoga Improves Morale in The Workplace

How Yoga Improves Morale in The Workplace

The workday can be very stressful. From working long hours to having to deal with personal issues, a lot of stress can be accumulated even by the time you are at work for just a few hours.

From the company’s perspective, having employees whom are stressed and unhappy are not going to be as productive at work. When the employees are not productive at work the company does not get what needs to be done, and will ultimately not make as much profit as possible. From the employees perspective being stressed will cause a strain on your mental health throughout the entire day. Your boss will be able to recognize that you are not in a good mood; which could lead to an issue between you and your boss.

One of the ways to combat stress in your life is through yoga. Yoga is an excellent way to relax, regain composure, and to alleviate the pain from any previous experiences in your day. The great part about yoga is that there are many different levels from beginner to advanced. The beginner yoga is the focus for improving morale and reducing stress during the workday. A basic yoga session does not have to take long at all. In just 20-30 minutes you can perform all the yoga poses, stretches, and meditation necessary to be more relaxed and stress free for the rest of your workday.

The start of a basic yoga session would begin with some stretching and breathing. You would sit on your yoga mat, feet straight out in front of you and reach slowly for your toes. Breathing is the key component in this. Even if you are in-flexible, you want to breathe into the stretch. Inhale very slowly counting one, two, three, four, and exhale slowly counting one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. You want to perform this stretch and breathing for about 45 seconds. Your breath is what relaxes you, it keeps you calm and makes sure you are going at a slow relaxed pace. You want to focus on that breath pattern during every exercise.

The next part of the yoga session is basic poses. An excellent opener is the child’s pose. In this pose you want to sit on your knees on the mat, then extend your arms out in front of you as far as they will go. Put your palms flat on the ground, make sure that your knees remain on the mat and your back is straight. This pose stretches out the back, a place where a lot of stress and anxiety is stored. This pose should be done for about 2-3 minutes. Another excellent beginning yoga pose is the downward, and upward dog poses. These two poses stretch out your hips and lower back. These should be done for about one minute each all while breathing in and out slowly.

The finishing pose of a typical yoga session is the corpse pose. The corpse pose is performed by laying flat on your back, hands on each side of you laying flat. This pose is to totally relax the body and mind of everything. You want to clear your mind of any stresses or anxiety you may have previously had. The goal is to think about nothing at all. This pose is very unique because not many people think about nothing at all in their day. This should be done for 5-7 minutes, or longer if desired.

Taking a break from the workday is crucial. I recommend after lunch as a good time to do a 20 minute yoga session. The yoga will relax you and make you less stressed and feel better about yourself and the day. Encourage management at your job to get involved also. The management will want higher morale and better productivity. It is a win-win situation for both sides.

The Temperate Climates

The Temperate Climates

Temperate climates are found 50 to 60 degrees north and south of equator. They are of basically two varieties, namely, the continental type and the maritime type.

The Continental Type

The stations located in this type of temperate zone are located quite far-off from any water body like sea or ocean. Therefore, the moderating effect of the sea does not reach them. As a result, the summers are quite warm with a summer rain maxima and winters are quite cold. Such type of climate is known as continental. In Europe, Moscow is perhaps the best example of temperate continental climate. At Moscow, summers can be quite warm and the hottest month is usually above 70 F. This is quite high for its latitude of about 52 N. This is because of the fact that the Great Eurasian landmass, in which Moscow is located, gets quite warm in summer.

In winter quite the opposite hold true and the nighttime low can dip as low as 0 F. This is again due to the continental effect and the remoteness of the location from the sea. The precipitation is received mostly in the summer although Moscow gets moderate rainfall in almost every month of the year.

In the southern hemisphere, due to absence of any big land mass, the continental type is not manifested properly at any particular location.

The Maritime Climate

The best example is London. As opposed to Moscow, it neither gets so warm in summer nor so cold in winter; thanks to the nearness to the Atlantic Ocean and the moderating influence of the North Atlantic Drift. London get precipitation in every month but the winter precipitation is more pronounced than that of the summer one.

As for the temperatures, they are quite moderate for its latitude of 51 N. The mean of the hottest month is 60 F while even during the height of winter, it is rare for the temperatures to fall below 30 F.

In southern Hemisphere, Auckland, in New Zealand has a similar climate. Tasmania in Australia is also an example of maritime temperate climate. In both these areas the summers as well as the winters are mild due to the moderating influence of the ocean.

In short, the temperate climates have two broad categories, namely the continental and the maritime. The former has maximum precipitation is summer while the latter has more precipitation is winter.

Who ARE the men and women risking it all for extra-marital fun?

As hackers threaten to reveal customer data from adultery website Ashley Madison, many users are racing to delete their accounts.

But for many of the married men and women signed up to the controversial site – which boasts one million users in the UK alone – it is business as usual, with their online profiles still intact.

FEMAIL registered its own account to see just what kind of man is willing to risk everything for an extra-marital affair – and why.

Browsing the list of ‘available’ men, it is perhaps surprising to see how many of the profile pictures are unedited close-ups.

Scroll down for video

The adultery site Ashley Madison is for men and women who are looking for an extra-marital affair without their partners’ knowledge

After all, as users are informed when you register your details, you are far more likely to elicit a response if you post a picture of yourself. And the more candid the better.

The men stare brazenly into the camera, seemingly unconcerned that someone might recognise them and inform their other halves.

Others photographs are fuzzy and out of focus, or teasingly zoomed in on one feature – a pouty mouth or a hint of chiselled jaw. Meanwhile a few are wearing masks, either real of animated, like those found at a masquerade ball.

The profiles themselves are equally revealing. A 38-year-old attached man from London sets his limits as: Whatever Excites Me.

Detailing what he is looking for, he includes: submission, blindfolding, Tantric Sex, role-playing, threesomes and erotic movies.

The discreet site – which has one million users in the UK – is now facing a security breach from hackers

He continued by promising he would never leave a girl ‘unsatisfied’ and would make sure she gets what she deserves.

A 39-year-old African American is also reasonably upfront about the difficulties he faces in his marriage.

He says: ‘I am a busy professional working long hours and hardly get time to connect with my equally busy spouse.

The Aries, who is ‘undecided about his limits’, even offers a financial reward as an incentive, adding: ‘I am looking for someone who is willing to offer good companionship for 2 hours a week in return for a financial gift. The ideal lady will be attractive and with a place not too far from central London. Is that too much to ask? :-)’

A 46-year-old man who works in media in London describes himself as ‘sexually dominant’ and promises to ‘take control with the right woman. But of course only in a safe, sane and consensual way’.

He sells himself as having ‘a dry sense of humour’ and the ability to ‘converse intelligently and playfull’,.

Despite having a ‘strong sex drive’, he adds: ‘That’s not the only thing on my (broad) mind.’

He says: ‘I am like all the best things – addictive and bad for you. I know what I want and usually get it, but I love the challenge of achieving my desires and testing my limits.

Signing off, the ‘creative and imaginative alpha male’, asks interested parties to drop him a line and ‘let’s see if we click’.

Ashley Madison, founded in 2001, also includes profiles of single men, who are presumably looking for some no-strings fun without the worry of commitment.

Many attached and unattached women have also created a profile in the hunt for some illicit excitement.

Describing herself as ‘an independent, sharp, feminine, down to earth yet sassy woman’, she continues: ‘Assertiveness and an open mind is a must. Taller than me and you should know what moisturiser is! I am not looking for a push over, nor interested in spanking you…’

Meanwhile a  38-year-old from Brentwood, Essex admits the spark has gone out of her marriage.

She says: ‘I’m married and happy but the passion has long gone. We are now just friends.’

The wife, who describes herself as ‘shapely toned’, says she likes good conversation, meals out and champagne.

She is looking for someone within a 20-mile radius with free time ‘for exciting mutually exhilarating encounters!’

She adds that she would like ‘exciting romance, passion,’flirtation and The REST’.

A 45-year-old attached woman from Edgware, Hertfordshire has set her welcome message to read: ‘
Oh well, what is there to lose.’

The 5ft 4ins attached female is looking for a ‘tall, dark and handsome’ ‘Don Juan’ and a ‘hopeless romantic’ to enjoy ‘candle lit dinners’ and ‘long drives’ with.

She says she is hoping to find that ‘something important missing’.

She writes: ‘I need both a mental and physical connection. Brains and stimulating conversation are as important as chemistry as I would prefer a longer term affair – with someone like-minded.’

The size 6-8 blonde says she doesn’t want men to buy her underwear (‘I can buy my own’) and  adds: ‘All your own hair please if that doesn’t sound too superficial.’

She continues: ‘If you are not tall or dark or any of the above please don’t waste my time or your money by sending me your photos or messages. I am looking for men who are 38 – 52 in age, no kids thanks, I am not Mrs Robinson.’

A single Australian woman, aged 30, and living in London, says she is open to ‘sensual massage’ and spanking’.

She continues: ‘Looking to meet interesting guys without drama or complication. I just want to enjoy life and have some fun without the need of attachment. I’m easy going and very discreet.’

Joining the site is free for women and men, although a 99p charge per day will bump you up to the top of the search results. It has numerous options for members to send custom mail messages, initiate chat sessions, send priority messages and virtual gifts.

Those who are often on the road are also encouraged to join with the ?Travelling Man? and ?Travelling woman? option for those who want to browse while on the go.

The site even includes a panic setting that allows users to immediately flick to a neutral site – a potentially useful feature if a user’s spouse or partner suddenly walks into the room.

The sleek-looking site, which claims to have 37 million users in 50 countries, is known for its advertising slogan ‘Life is short. Have an affair’.

It allows married people interested in having an affair to access the profiles of other members who specify what they?re looking for, such as, ?cyber affair/erotic chat, whatever excites me, anything goes or undecided.?

But now the secrets the business relies on – the names and contact details of clients who have used the site to arrange affairs they thought would be hidden forever, and even nude photos – could be made public.

The team of hackers – which calls itself the Impact Team – claims it has stolen the real names and addresses of many of its members, even those who have already left and asked for their accounts to be deleted.

The group, which says it is morally motivated, is threatening to publish the details unless the site is closed down by owner Canada-based Avid Life Media.

The site’s reliance on secrecy is what has made the hack so potentially damaging.

Record 71 prisoners freed by mistake as violence in jails hits new high

Dozens of prisoners have been released by mistake as violence in jails surged to a new high, official figures reveal.

Seventy-one convicted criminals or suspects were erroneously freed in 2016/17 ? a rise of seven on the previous year and the highest number since current records started a decade ago.

It means inmates were let out due to blunders at a rate of more than one a week.

(PA graphics)

A raft of statistics released on Thursday by the Ministry of Justice also revealed another jump in assaults across the prisons estate in England and Wales.

There were 26,643 assaults in the year to March, including a record 7,159 attacks on staff ? equivalent to nearly 20 every day.

The disclosure on mistaken releases sparked criticism from campaigners and politicians. A prisoner is officially classed as having been freed in error if they are wrongly discharged from an establishment or court when they should have remained in custody.

Fifty-eight of the erroneous releases occurred from prison establishments, while 13 happened during escort or at courts.

Prisoners released in error are not considered to be unlawfully at large, according to an MoJ report setting out the figures.

It says: ?They are not culpable and may be unaware that they have not completed their sentence or have outstanding warrants. Depending on the circumstances of the case, they may not be actively pursued for return to custody.?

Examples of mistakes behind erroneous releases include misplaced warrants for imprisonment or remand, recall notices not being acted on, sentence miscalculations or discharging the wrong person on escort.

Liberal Democrat chief whip Alistair Carmichael said: ?It is beyond belief that 71 potentially dangerous prisoners have been released by mistake.?

Rachel Almeida, of the charity Victim Support, said: ?Many victims will be shocked by these figures, especially if it involves perpetrators of serious crimes.?

The MoJ said releases in error are extremely rare but it takes cases very seriously, working with police to recapture offenders.

Ministers have launched a recruitment drive to add 2,500 frontline officers and put in place new measures to tackle the availability of mobile phones and drugs in jails.

Justice Secretary David Lidington said improving safety and security in prisons was his top priority.

He said: ?These figures reinforce how crucial it is that we make progress as quickly as possible.?

?I have seen first-hand the challenges our dedicated and hardworking prison staff face.

‘Off, off, off!’: Villagers order travellers off their sports field in extraordinary stand off as police threaten protesters with dogs

This is the dramatic moment that hundreds of furious locals confronted travellers who had pitched up in a community park.

Police are shown forming a barrier between the two sides as residents chant ‘off, off, off’ at the travellers, who had set up their mobile homes on a recreation ground.

A mass protest was organised after the caravans arrived at the field, having been forced off another park about two miles away in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Some members of the 200-strong group of protesters – which includes several children – were seen arguing with police as officers try to diffuse the situation.

In one heated exchange, a man can be heard saying: ‘How can you use dogs against a people’s protest?’

A police officer is then heard to reply: ‘If you do not leave the field you will be arrested.’

No-one was injured in the clash, but protesters were horrified to be told police dogs could be set on them if they did not abide by the disposal order.

One man says: ‘General members of the public are being kicked off a public field and being threatened with dogs if they don’t go, so gypsies can stay on the field.

‘The public have to leave or the dogs will be set upon us, or we will be bitten by the dogs.’

A police officer told him: ‘Not bitten but they will be used to get them out.’

The man added: ‘Surely it would be easier to get rid of 20 of them than 400 of us.’

A mass protest was organised after the caravans arrived at the field, having been forced off another park about two miles away in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset

The grounds are regularly used by the Weston Crusaders Junior Football Club and other sports teams.

The same group of travellers had been ordered to leave nearby Clarence Park on Wednesday, but instead of leaving the town they moved into another park.

North Somerset Council was due in court this week to apply for an eviction order following repeat offences by the same group of travellers.

Andrew Blackmore, vice-chairman of the Weston Crusaders, told the Bristol Post that more than £3,000 worth of damage had been caused by the travellers.

He said that handbrake turns had ripped up the pitch, while a bonfire had scorched the earth, leaving one football pitch ‘unplayable’.

Families arrived at Baytree Recreational Ground in Weston-super-Mare to protest after a group of around 20 travellers pitched up at the site

The same group of travellers had been ordered to leave nearby Clarence Park on Wednesday, but instead of leaving the town they moved into the recreation ground

Mr Blackmore told the newspaper: ‘We are coming up to the start of the season and the damage is mostly down to the stupidity of those driving transit vans and creating ?doughnuts? around the football pitch.

‘Because most of them are in the middle of the field, all the pitches are now unplayable.

The entire Baytree Rec is completely ruined. We are assessing the damage at the moment, but we?ve been given an estimate of about £3,000 worth of damage.’

A spokeswoman for Avon & Somerset Police said the travellers were escorted out of the town late last night and that no arrests were made during either incident.

She added: ‘A protest against a traveller encampment on the recreation ground attracted more than 200 people on Sunday, August 20.

‘Police closed Milton Road and Baytree Road just after 8pm due to the number of people and vehicles at the protest.

‘It’s understood North Somerset Council has already served notice on the travellers to leave the site and that the council is due in court this week to seek an eviction order.

‘A number of officers, including police dog units, are at the scene in order to prevent a breach of the peace.

‘Despite the numbers the protest has remained peaceful and the protesters are now beginning to leave.

‘A dispersal notice has been put in place giving officers powers to direct any further protesters to leave the area and not return.’

Ex-Coldstone Creamery executive, 55, dies in police custody after ‘drug-fueled stun gun attack’ on his elderly parents that left them both bloodied and hospitalized

A former Cold Stone Creamery and Massage Envy executive died after a ‘drug fueled attack’ where he beat and used a stun gun on his elderly parents at their home.

Local police were called to the scene at Andara Senior Living community around 7pm after Joye Knowlton reported a domestic violence dispute.

Police said they found Joye waiting outside, visibly beaten. Police then entered the apartment to find Knowlton and his father on the ground covered in blood.

The couple, who are in their 80s, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

Knowlton was arrested but police claim he stopped breathing when they put handcuffs on him, so he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Scottsdale Police Sergeant Ben Hoster said in a press conference: ‘During the handcuffing, he stopped breathing and went into full code.’

Knowlton’s official cause of death will be released by the County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Before the shocking incident, Knowlton’s Facebook page was frequently updated with posts of his father, celebrating Father’s Day and for no particular occasion.

In June, he wrote: ‘Happy Fathers Day Dad! You are an incredible role model for me and I appreciate how you have always been there for me.’

Another photo caption read: ‘In honor of my Dad on Memorial Day, served in Korea, so proud of him.’

Best Tantric Massage London experience

There are many different opinions and schools of thought, depending on the level of understanding of the practitioner.  The term Tantric Massage was coined in the 1980’s and gave rise to a variety of trainings and qualifications. Traditional Tantra is a body of ancient esoteric teachings which date back thousands of years. These teachings are difficult to understand without the guidance of a master and have nothing whatsoever to do with massage. For an insight into traditional Tantra in India.

Please take the time to read the different sections of our website, to help you understand what our Tantric Massage London is all about, and how it may differ from many of the services which have sprung up in London in recent years. There are numerous erotic and sensual massages on offer in London, many of them branding themselves ‘genuine tantric massage’, but tantric massage should have a different dimension.
